Our Community Murrayville is located 110 km west of Ouyen, 210 km from Mildura, 565km from Melbourne and 276 km from Adelaide, 16km inside the Victoria / South Australia border. The area is essentially a wheat and sheep-farming region with a substantial and increasingly diversifying, agricultural economic base. There is an expanding interest in tourism as a possible growth area. The former consolidated (primary) and secondary schools were amalgamated into one P-12 College at the beginning of 1994.
